Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 22, 2026
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, configure bots, or contact us. This includes your name, email address, bot configurations, task prompts, and any content you submit to the service.
We automatically collect usage data such as IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature interactions.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve BotHound, including executing bot runs, delivering results, billing, and customer support. We also use aggregate analytics to understand usage patterns and prioritize product development.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure in the United States. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication.
4. Data retention
Bot configurations and execution history are retained for the lifetime of your account so you can audit past runs at any time. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.
5. Third-party models and tools
BotHound uses third-party language model providers to execute bot tasks. When a bot runs, relevant prompt and context data is sent to those providers solely to generate the task output. We do not grant those providers rights to use your data to train their models.
We do not use your data, including prompts, bot configurations, tool inputs, or outputs, to train any model, whether our own or any third party's. Your content exists to run your bots and nothing else.
When you use tools that interact with external services (such as web search or email), your bot's requests are transmitted to those services as needed to perform the task.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with third-party service providers who assist in operating BotHound (such as Google Cloud Platform for infrastructure, Stripe for payments, and language model providers for bot execution), subject to confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
8. Your rights
You may access, update, or delete your personal information through your account settings. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us at contact@bothound.ai.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
10. Contact us
