BotHound runs on credits. The math is deliberately boring. That's the point.
The cost of a run scales with the work the bot replaces. A bot with 1 task costs 50 credits per run. A bot with 3 tasks costs 150 credits ($1.50). A bot with 10 tasks costs 500 credits ($5.00). Tool calls inside a task are not billed separately. No surprise bills, no metered pricing, no math at the end of the month.

Top up any amount
When your balance runs low, top up directly from the billing page. You choose the amount. $5, $50, $500. It's your account. Payment is handled through Stripe, and credits land in your balance immediately.
No plan upgrades. No locked-in monthly fees. Use the product heavily one month and lightly the next, and pay accordingly. If you don't run bots, you don't get billed.

Do credits expire?
No. Credits do not expire. Top up whenever you want and use them whenever you need them.
What counts toward the price of a run?
Each active task in your bot costs 50 credits when the bot runs. A bot with 1 task costs 50 credits per run. A bot with 5 tasks costs 250 credits ($2.50) per run. Whether the run is manual or scheduled, the math is the same.

What happens if my balance runs out?
If your balance can't cover a run, that run is skipped and any active schedule is paused. You won't silently burn credits you didn't have. You top up when you're ready, and everything resumes.
