About BotHound

BotHound exists because too much valuable time gets burned on repetitive work that should already be automated. We wanted a product that actually takes the task off your plate, not one that just talks about it.

We're the people building the product, replying to support emails, and trying to make automation feel dependable when you hand it real work.

BotHound is a platform for building bots that do the job. Not chatbots. Not copilots that hand the work back to you after a summary. Bots with a defined purpose, real tools, and the ability to run on their own.

Why we built this

Most of us have a list of things we do by hand every week that feel like they shouldn't need us. The weekly report. The morning briefing. The competitor check. The lead enrichment pass. It's the same shape every time, and yet we keep doing it ourselves.

Large language models are astonishingly good at thinking, reasoning, and writing. But on their own, they can't do anything. They can't check the weather, send an email, pull data from a source, or run on a schedule while you sleep. The gap between "I can have a conversation with an AI" and "an AI did my work" is enormous, and closing that gap was always going to require more than another chat window.

BotHound exists to close that gap. We give your bots the tools, the task structure, and the operational layer they need to take the busywork off your plate.

How BotHound works

Every bot on BotHound is a sequence of focused tasks. Each task has its own purpose, its own prompt, and access to whatever tools the job needs. Web search, email, data fetchers, and more. Bots can run on demand or on a recurring schedule. Every run produces a full, auditable history so you know exactly what happened at every step.

Our approach

We keep things simple. Pricing is flat and transparent: 50¢ per active task per run, no subscriptions, no seat fees. A bot with 1 task costs 50¢ per run; a bot with 5 tasks costs $2.50 per run. The product is designed to be used, not just demoed. We prioritize reliability, predictability, and a trail of evidence over magic-sounding features.

Every account starts with 1,000 free credits so you can try the product without a credit card and without a countdown timer. If BotHound doesn't earn its keep, you don't pay.

Where we're going

Bots are going to take over a huge amount of repetitive, connective work over the next few years. We want BotHound to be the place where that shift happens for real teams, not just in demo videos. That means more tools, more integrations, and tighter, faster orchestration, shipped carefully on a cadence you can rely on.
